The International Test of Science & Technology (ITST) is designed to understand how well students understand, reason with and apply scientific concepts rather than simply recall facts from textbooks. The assessment encourages students to observe, question, connect scientific ideas and use their understanding to solve problems in familiar and unfamiliar situations.

Science is not only about remembering facts, definitions and formulas. International Test of Science & Technology helps students develop the ability to: • Understand scientific concepts • Observe and interpret information • Connect cause and effect • Apply scientific knowledge • Reason logically • Think about real-world situations scientifically The aim is to encourage students to think like young scientists—not simply remember like a textbook.

1. 1Register. Students of Classes 1–10 can enrol in the International Olympiad through participating schools.
2. 2Submit. Fill the parent consent form and submit it with the applicable fee to your class teacher.
3. 3Prepare. Access the physical workbook (hard copy will be given as opted), syllabus, sample papers and preparation resources through the Genie App.
4. 4Appear. Take the exam at the designated school/examination centre.
5. 5Discover. Receive your result and performance insights. You may also receive awards, prizes etc as applicable
