What is IMO?

The International Mathematics Olympiad is designed to assess how students understand, apply and reason with mathematical concepts—not simply how well they remember formulas or follow familiar procedures.The assessment encourages students to think mathematically, identify patterns, analyse situations and apply concepts to unfamiliar problems.

How to Participate?

  1. 1Register. Students of Classes 1–10 can enrol in the International Olympiad through participating schools.
  2. 2Submit. Fill the parent consent form and submit it with the applicable fee to your class teacher.
  3. 3Prepare. Access the physical workbook (hard copy will be given as opted), syllabus, sample papers and preparation resources through the Genie App.
  4. 4Appear. Take the exam at the designated school/examination centre.
  5. 5Discover. Receive your result and performance insights. You may also receive awards, prizes etc as applicable
